What is Salted?

Salted is a new type of cooking school. 

We're working with 200 of the best chefs in the country to bring our members a world class cooking education, grounded in beautiful video, exclusive classes, and both culinary skills and recipes from the most celebrated restaurants in the country. Why the name “Salted”?

We chose the name “Salted” for two reasons: 

  1. “Salt” is the foundation of cooking, much like our tutorials can be the foundation of your cooking education, regardless of whether you are a novice in the kitchen, or advanced.
  2. The suffix “ed” speaks to the value we place on education (as well as entertainment).
