Just in time for summer, this course will teach you how to make delicious, creamy, and unique ice cream flavors all in the comfort of your own home. Once you master the use of an ice cream maker, the possibilities become endless. Learn how to use refined ingredients like horchata and lemongrass to step up your ice-cream game, or step back into your childhood with flavors like breakfast cereal infused ice cream. Either way, ice cream making is an essential summer-time skill to master, and the techniques you’ll learn in this course can then be applied to myriad recipes and ingredients.

Chef Taylor Hall

Taylor Hall is the chef and owner of Apis Restaurant & Apiary, located outside of Austin, Texas. Taylor specializes in making elegant seasonal fare, inspired by a deep appreciation for the natural food cycle.

Chef Susana Querejazu

Susana Querejazu is the pastry chef at the James Beard nominated Odd Duck restaurant in Austin, Texas. Complimenting the farm-to-table focus of the restaurant, Susana draws inspiration from Texas seasons and local ingredients to create desserts that are delicately balanced and artfully composed.

Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley

Marjorie Meek-bradley is the executive chef at the casual upscale DC restaurant, Ripple, and acclaimed gastropub, Roofer's Union. In addition to many industry accolades and an impressive list of former kitchen stomping grounds, Marjorie is currently showcasing her talent as a contestant on Bravo TV's Top Chef.

Chef Tim Ma

Tim Ma is the owner and chef at several Washington D.C.-area eateries. Tim uses locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, creating modern American, globally influenced dishes that are at once familiar and novel in flavor and presentation.

Chef Kwame Onwuachi

At just 24 years old, Kwame has already made a name for himself within the culinary community. His Nigerian lineage combined with his refined, fine dining skills makes for an eclectic and exciting dining experience.
